Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Very good udon, the springiness and texture is exactly the same as their outlet in Japan. Tempura is crispy and the taste of the vegetables are well preserved."
"Pretty authentic udon shop right here in KL! Love the open kitchen design, especially the live udon making spot. Wasn't busy when we went on a Saturday afternoon, so wasn't particularly hard for us to find a parking. Although almost all the staff are foreign workers, the service is still very friendly and attentive. Personally got the zaru udon tempura set. It was definitely good and authentic but didn't exactly blew me away. Love the chewiness texture of the udon, the tempura is very well made, fresh ingredients and delicious thin batter. The dipping sauce is simple but not to my taste as I dislike ginger, nevertheless still good. The yakiudon has a nice combination of flavour but just lacks a certain kick that can make it memorable. Overall I still recommend this shop for their authentic udon dishes with fair pricing."
"Udon lovers, this is THE place. A great way to assess how good is the food is the order their simplest dish. And I must say even with just the soup, the udon, and meat, it was delicious. This time we ordered the hiyashi tanuki udon and the coriander beef udon, both that were surprisingly flavourful. Not forgetting the tamago and karaage which were a hit as well (not captured here) Love every bit, will come here again!"
"My family and I comes by at least once a quarter. Service here is generally okay. Food is good. From the rice to the noodles, but the highlight for me is their udon. Very nice and bouncy. Generally good experiences here, they can even accommodate bigger crowds."
"This restaurant has the best UDON tht i ever tasted. Very Q and chewy. You also don't missed thier fried chicken, it isnvery crispy and tasty. Staff are all good and attentive. Price is above average but worth it. Parking can be limited, but mall parking is available."
"The noodles are so QQ!!! And the tempura is light and crispy. I would 100% come back again because I've never had such good textured udon."
"The food is the key thing. It's superb. We tried the Beef Udon - Udon was uniquely flavourful by itself. Quite nice. Beef was a wee bit on the tougher side. Nonetheless, we love this dish. Karaage - everyone recommended this. The meat was juicy and tender. But it wasn't flavourful. Lacking in seasoning. The accompanying sauce and the tempura sauce weren't exactly helping to elevate the dish in anyway whatsoever. We ended up dipping the chicken into the beef bowl Udon soup. That itself helped to make the chicken tasted much better. Pricing wise it's on the high side. Parking is non existent. So on weekends, we were told nobody will come to summon. Weekdays is another story. Were told that there will be No towing despite the signs posted."
"Parking is hard to get so I suggest do come early and search for a parking on the street. This Udon is so QQ and definitely will come back again. We ordered coriander beef N spicy pork dip Udon. So delicious and the taste is just epic and I ended up ordered the fried prawn for my spicy pork dip tk finish the sauce"
